Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Tool Maker/CNC Program Setup to join our team. As a Tool Maker/CNC Program Setup, you will be responsible for creating and repairing precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures used in the manufacturing process and running/program setup of CNC/s. Your expertise in machining and mechanical knowledge will be essential in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our production operations.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces
- Set up and operate machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) equipment to fabricate parts and CNC's.
- Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances of finished parts using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Fit and assemble parts to make, repair, or modify dies, jigs, gauges, and tools using hand tools
- Inspect finished dies for smoothness, contour conformity, and defects
- Test completed tools or dies to ensure that they meet specifications
- Troubleshoot issues with tools or dies during production

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Tool Maker/CNC Program Setup or similar role
- Proficient in die work and running and program setup on CNC's
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining principles
- Familiarity with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software such as SolidWorks
- Experience with Electrical Discharge Machining (EDM) is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong manual dexterity and ability to use hand tools effectively
